KATHERINE ALEXANDER
KATHERINE ALEXANDER
“My husband and I spend as much time as possible in West Texas. Our house is situated 140 miles southeast of El Paso on high plains surrounded by mountain ranges and cattle ranches. The landscape is starkly beautiful and provides endless subject matter for my work. Each painting captures a moment where land and sky are intensified by the play of light and shadow as the West Texas landscape speaks to our spirits through its eloquent silence, majesty and sublime beauty.”
